The Rebar Receiving Platform is a robotic platform that is designed to assist dock side workers to receive rebar bundles from offloading vessel in a safer and efficient way.
The Receiving platform uses 2D lidars to calculate the height, angle and position of the rebar relative to the landing zone. The system then reacts to the position of the incoming payload to straighten it.
